Irina Rebnitskaya is an artist of Russian origin living in Finland.

 

Graduated from the Stieglitz State Academy of Arts and Design in 2005. Studied art history, Repin Academy of Fine Arts. Studied contemporary art courses at Aalto University, School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Helsinki

 

Board member of the Finnish Watercolor Society (2016-2021), IWS representative in Finland. Founder and teacher of Akvarelli Ateljee Espoo — art school and gallery in Finland

 

She is an active participant in the activities of the Finnish Watercolor Society and takes part in many international watercolor exhibitions throughout Europe.

 

While travelling and often paints with watercolor outdoors, using the Alla Prima technique, capturing moments of freshness, feelings of cold, wind, warmth and sunlight. Her artworks are in museum and private collections in the USA, Russia, Finland, Sweden and Italy.
